4-Week Semiconductor Education Program

선발대 6명, 후발대 2명 총 8명 참가

Program Overview

This program is a 4-week semiconductor device training  initiative  hosted at the University of Texas 

at Arlington (UTA) for 8 undergraduate students from Yeungnam University. The curriculum focuses 

on the analysis and modeling  of infrared (IR) photodetectors, particularly  devices based on SACM 

structures (Separate Absorption,  Charge, and Multiplication  regions). The program combines 

theoretical lectures, TCAD simulation  exercises, and hands-on device modeling  projects. 

Participants will  stay in individual apartment-style accommodations, and in the first week, will receive 

UTA student IDs and participate in a campus tour to aid adjustment. The program also includes a site 

visit to Texas Instruments (TI) and guest lectures to bridge theory and industrial practice. The program 

concludes with group project presentations and report submissions.
